We are seeking a full-time VP of Operations to help grow the company to a liquidation event. This position is located in Chicago, and the company has flexible work options. You will focus on operational plans for the company to exceed its current topline growth rate and increasing efficiencies to maximize impact. This will include evaluating and improving existing strategies, monitoring company-wide programs end-to-end, and ensuring daily functions of the organization. As a member of the leadership team, you will be expected to participate in related public relations and fundraising events as well.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Managing and executing company wide programs to drive sustainable growth
• Ensure company key performance indicators are met or exceeded
• Coordinate daily operations across departments including sales, engineering, and production
• Lead by example by enforcing company culture
• Own continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with investor and public relations

Minimum Requirements for this Position

• Proven experience growing a division or company
• Intrinsically motivated
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Strong written and spoken communication skills (including public speaking)
• Clever problem solving

Relevant experience in the following areas is a plus

• Startup 
• MBA or other demonstration of business aptitude
• People management
• Project management
