We are seeking a part-time Chief Financial Officer to leverage Cast21’s finances into a strategic asset and manage financial risk. This position can be fulfilled remotely, and preference will be given to those who are local to Chicago and participate in the flexible in-office policy. You will focus on communicating and owning financial key performance indicators to support Cast21’s fundraising and operational goals. This will include building and maintaining a clean financial data room, participating in fundraising activities, and bookkeeping.

• Manage financial risk and opportunity to optimize financial models

Minimum Requirements for this Position

• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Google Drive and Microsoft Office

Relevant experience in the following areas is a plus

• Startup
• Fundraising experience (either side of the deal)
• CPA or other tax exposure
